What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing practice that works with universal life energy. It is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that encourages deep relaxation while helping to restore balance across the body's energy centres and supporting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
As a naturopath, I see Reiki as a valuable complement to whole-person care. A relaxed body and mind play an important role in supporting the body's natural healing processes. Whether through Reiki, nutrition or lifestyle changes, my aim is always the same - to create the right conditions for healing to begin naturally.
Reiki works on several levels:
Physical
Helps release muscle tension, reduce stress and fatigue, improve sleep quality, relieve headaches and migraines, promotes relaxation, and supports the body's natural healing and recovery.
Emotional
Reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, creates emotional balance, promote a sense of calm and safety, helps process stored emotions and support the grieving process, promote inner peace and resilience
Mental
Quiets a busy mind, reduce mental fatigue, encourage mindfulness, improves mental clarity, enhances focus and concentration.
Spiritual
Reconnect with yourself, deepen self-awareness, cultivate inner peace, strengthen your sense of purpose and connection.
My intention is to create a peaceful and safe space where you can slow down, allow your body and mind to unwind, and reconnect with yourself. Every session is guided by what you need in that moment, with Reiki flowing to where it is needed most, supporting your body's natural ability to restore balance and promoting a sense of relaxation.
Whether you're seeking relief from stress, emotional support, or simply a quiet moment away from the demands of everyday life, you are warmly welcome.
The Five Reiki Principles
The Five Ethical Principles of Reiki are simple daily reminders that encourage a mindful and compassionate way of living.

- Just for today, I will not be angry.
- Just for today, I will be grateful.
- Just for today, I will earn my living honestly.
- Just for today, I will be kind to all living things.
